is such a labor of love for nic and i. first, we L O V E to go to vintage shops, thrift stores and our favorite place to “shop” is nic’s grandma jane’s basement. 3 cedar lined closets FULL of treasures from the 1960′s-70s. also, nic and i love to take pictures. we are not pros- but it is something we love to do, especially together. nic is so creative; it is awesome to watch him work. to me, there is something so beautiful about wearing a vintage piece. recycling, making something completely new that was once old- there is nothing modern that can compare to that. i like to think of the person who wore it before me (who i usually don’t have a clue about, unless it’s jane) what they looked like, where they lived, where they went in the coat, dress, skirt ect. i don’t know, maybe i’m getting a bit sentimental about all of this ♥
